Recovering From Losses In Life - One-Day Seminar

August 14, 9:30am - 12:30pm

Life is marked by losses. While death and divorce are obvious, many other loss experiences have been identified that can produce grief. Among them are:

  • Death of a pet

  • Moving

  • Starting school

  • Death of a former spouse

  • Marriage

  • End of addictions

  • Major health changes

  • Retirement

  • Job loss

  • Financial changes – Positive and Negative

  • Holidays

  • Legal Problems

  • Natural disaster

  • Empty Nest

  • Pandemic

Grief is the normal and natural reaction to loss of any kind. Grief is the conflicting feelings caused by the end of or change in a familiar pattern.

Whether you’ve gone through a great tragedy or are just trying to deal with the small sorrows in life, this seminar can help you resist the pull toward despair and start on the road back to joy.

Join us Saturday, August 14th from 9:30am - 12:30pm at Braggtown Baptist Church, 3218 N. Roxboro Rd (across from Pelican Snowball). Park in the back lot, enter through the back door and take the stairs or elevator to the third floor.

The seminar is free. Donations are encouraged.
