About the Event
Perhaps you experienced what many have; you've been encouraged to have "lite" grief. "Get over it as soon as possible." "Isn't it time for you to move on with your life?" These are messages that increase the pain of grief.
If you are reading this then you or someone you love is likely experiencing grief and are searching for some answers. Perhaps you've sought support in this journey, but it's been difficult to discover others who can help rather than hinder. Others may have already tried to "fix you." Just remember, you don't need to be fixed. What could be needed is a greater understanding of your grief, what you can expect in the future, and what you can do to move forward.
In this 6-week group, you will discover you are not alone, you will learn what grief is, what you can expect to experience, how to embrace your grief, and your steps to recovery.
This 6-week group begins Monday, January 20th, 7:00 - 8:30 pm and continues on Monday evenings through February 24th.
