Fighting Food Insecurity Moving Forward

Food insecurity became very personal while schools were not open for in-person learning at the beginning of the pandemic, when parents of kids who had attended our previous summer camp reached out for help. We immediately mobilized volunteers and donations in order to meet the needs of the kids, and their families. To-date, beginning March 17, 2020, we have provided over 68,000 meals. The need continues as we serve 25-35 neighborhood families on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. How can you help? $35 buys the list of items below! Donate here.  Or purchase the items and bring to our distribution site at 3218 N. Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27704 and leave in our food collection box at the back entrance.
