The History of APKB Jatim
APKB Jatim was established on December 22, 2005, as a regional branch of APKB, the national association of bonded zone entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The founding members of APKB Jatim were 12 companies that operated in bonded zones in Surabaya, Sidoarjo, Gresik, Pasuruan, and Mojokerto.
Since then, APKB Jatim has grown significantly in terms of membership, activities, and achievements. Some of the milestones and achievements of APKB Jatim include:
Obtaining legal recognition from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in 2006
Establishing cooperation agreements with various institutions, such as universities, banks, insurance companies, customs offices, port authorities, and media outlets
Participating in various national and international forums, seminars, exhibitions, trade missions, and delegations related to the bonded zone industry
Receiving awards and appreciation from various parties, such as the Ministry of Finance, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, the East Java Provincial Government, and the Surabaya City Government
