Fighting Food Insecurity During Spring Break

We know that families struggling with food insecurity often find themselves without food at the end

of the month, even when relying on schools to provide two meals per day.

Spring break falls the last week in March turning what should be a fun-filled, rest-filled time, into an even bigger struggle.  We can help!

Bring non-perishable foods to our collection box, located outside the back entrance to Braggtown Baptist Church. We are collecting through Sunday, March 24th and will distribute the food on March 25th.

Please help our families with:

  • spaghetti sauce

  • spaghetti

  • canned soups and chili

  • ramen noodles,

  • canned fruit

  • cereal bars

  • cheese crackers,

  • peanut butter

  • and any other easy to open, non-perishable foods.

We will collect fresh fruit, bread, and milk on Sunday, March 24th, noon – 5pm & Monday, March 25th, 9am – 3pm. Otherwise, you can drop non-perishable food items at the drop box at your convenience.
